Learning about the stock market is something wise to do before jumping on the bandwagon of trading on the stock market. Sure there is value in learning from experience, but this could cost you thousands of dollars. Depending on your age, you may not have the time to bounce back from that loss. In this information age there are many places you can learn the ins and outs of the stock market.
Podcasts
There are many, many podcasts these days that talk about numerous topics. Here is an article suggesting the top podcasts to listen to in 2022 to learn about the stock market. Among the podcasts suggested is Jim Crammer’s podcast. Crammer also has a show with the same title, Mad Money. Podcasts coming from people who have worked the business and are willing to share some of their knowledge for FREE is priceless. Podcasts also give the opportunity to hear from various professionals in the field who the podcast host chooses to interview.
Online Classes
Some of us love learning and a class online or in person is something we often look for on various topics. Some of the top people you know in the finance have classes from time to time. Make sure to stay up to date on what they are offering their community. If is something new for them to offer, they may even have some classes for free! While you are looking into classes, also look for subscriptions that you might glean valuable information from. Here is a free opportunity coming up in February. Sandi is a multimillionaire who started dealing in stocks a couple years ago. She has learned and shares her strategies and knowledge in a subscription as well as this new class.
Udemy
I list this separately from Online Classes because it is on a platform all to itself. Udemy is a platform purely for the continued education. They have all sorts of classes on numerous topics. Udemy is a very affordable way to learn new things. They also have many sales on classes from week to week. I would suggest taking a look at Udemy’s list of courses to find one for the stock market.
Books/Blogs
Last but not least, I would not underestimate the power of written text for learning opportunities about the stock market. They can still have powerful graphs and link addresses. This blog has several entries about the stock market, and is sure to have more in the future. Here is a list of book suggests for you to break in 2022 with. In this list is included the letters Warren Buffet writes to his shareholders. I have no doubt Buffet has a thing or two we as investors can learn from.
Conclusion
The stock market is a very popular way for people to invest their money. It is wise, however, to learn the ins and outs of the stock market and how to make the best decisions while trading. Podcasts, classes, classes specifically from Udemy, books, and blogs are helpful in finding the valuable information.

Hello Jacque –
These are great tips and thank you for the resources. I will be checking out the list of podcasts for sure. I have begun investing small amounts, but at age 50, am sad to say I don’t know near enough about how to properly invest. Posts like this one help me to feel a bit more educated!
